At Gillespie Veterinary Center, we do so much more than check-ups and vaccines. We also offer a wide range of grooming services for dogs and cats, to help them look (and smell) their best!

Regular grooming is great for your pet’s overall health, and can help with shedding – which most of our pet parents really enjoy! But you can also have your pet groomed seasonally, as seasonal haircuts or shave-downs can really help your pets feel cool and comfortable throughout our hot Texas summers!

our Grooming services include…

  • Bath

    Medicated or Non-Medicated

  • Ear Cleaning

  • Haircut

  • Full Shave-Down

  • Nail Trim

  • Anal Gland Expression

** Grooming prices are dependent on the size animal and complexity of groom.

Our professional groomer is available by appointment only. Please call us to book an appointment for your cat or dog.

Boarding FAQS

For boarding, we require all pets to have a current:

  • Rabies Vaccination
  • Parvo/Distemper Vaccination
  • Bordetella Vaccination

All boarding guests are also given a Capstar treatment the day of admission. Capstar is a short-acting flea treatment.

While we do not have a firm age requirement for boarding at Gillespie Veterinary Center, we highly discourage boarding very young pets. However, we can make special arrangements – please call us to discuss before booking your boarding reservation.
Check-in and check-out is during normal office hours, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m .
On weekends, you can check-in or check-out when a technician is available, either at 8 a.m. or at 4 p.m.
Food is included in the boarding rate for your pet. However, if they have a sensitive stomach, or special food they prefer, feel free to bring it with you, labeled individual baggies or a large container.

Feel free to bring up to 3 toys for your pet during their stay. Toys are a great way to help your pet feel comfortable while you are away. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged toys.

Don’t worry! If your pet gets sick during their stay, we will provide veterinary care as needed.
Co-boarding is available for small pets that live together. However, we do not offer a discounted rate for pets being boarded in the same kennel.
